How to Use
- Measure an existing bridle that fits your horse, or measure the head directly, and compare with pony, cob or full before ordering.
- Fit the headpiece comfortably behind the ears, then check the browband sits clear of the base of the ears without pinching.
- Adjust the cheekpieces evenly on both sides so the bit sits with a light, even contact at the corners of the mouth.
- Fasten the cavesson noseband around two fingers' width below the cheekbone, leaving room for two fingers underneath.
- Pass the flash strap in front of the bit and fasten it snugly but not tightly, checking you can still slide a finger beneath it.
- Attach the 16mm continental reins, then check all keepers and runners are used before mounting.
