The Shires Breakaway Trailer Tie is a safety trailer tie designed to break free should a tethered horse panic. If the horse pulls back sharply, the quick release tongue pulls out, leaving the clip attached to the horse and the trailer tie attached to the tie ring. The middle section is adjustable, giving a full length range of 62cm to 75cm.
