LeMieux Vector Control Stirrup

The LeMieux Vector Control Stirrup is a technically advanced, lightweight stirrup machined from aviation grade aluminium, combining a classic LeMieux aesthetic with modern engineering. Weighing just 419g each, the Vector Control features an ergonomic footplate set at 0 degrees with a cross-track grip surface and embedded hardened steel pins for maximum boot security. Competition legal for FEI, British Dressage, British Eventing and British Showjumping.

• Twin balance arch system distributes weight evenly across the base of the stirrup frame
• Recessed and off-set apex encourages a 45° outward orientation, helping the rider locate the optimum foot angle and regain a lost stirrup
• Integrated hinged arm with a two-stage release system prevents unintentional opening
• Spring loaded arm locks into the base of the main frame, spreading the rider's weight evenly under maximum pressure (e.g. landing over a fence) and preventing the outside dropping and flexing
• Stirrup arm breakout force = 36N (equivalent to 3.62kg) in testing - enough resistance to prevent unintentional opening, but releases when needed
• Competition legal: FEI, British Dressage, British Eventing and British Showjumping
• Important: no stirrup with a quick-release arm is guaranteed to open in every fall scenario. Factors such as a fall of the horse, a loose girth causing the saddle to slip, or a slow or unusual angle of exit may not generate enough lateral force to open the release arm. Users must be aware that no stirrup is completely fool proof in every eventuality.
