Neue Schule Demi-Anky Hunter-D

The Neue Schule Demi-Anky Hunter-D is an ergonomically designed single-jointed D-Ring snaffle bit, available in sizes 127mm, 133mm, 140mm, and 146mm. Despite being single jointed, its curved mouthpiece is engineered to eliminate the traditional nutcracker action associated with straight-armed single-jointed snaffles.

• Cleverly curved mouthpiece prevents the bit from moving too far forwards in the mouth, reducing pressure on the thinner, more sensitive part of the tongue
• Curvature down towards the bars creates a gentle, more even weight-bearing surface
• Beneficial for horses that back off, offer only an intermittent contact, or do not find a lozenge comfortable
• D-Ring enhances directional control, making it exceptionally effective for tight turns during faster work as the mouthpiece should not slide across the mouth
• Suitable for dressage - gives the rider greater shoulder control on a circle and helps set up the bend when changing the rein or with lateral work
• The stability of the D-Ring is often useful for horses that are overactive in the mouth in a loose ring design
