Description
The Premier Equine Intego Duo Safety Stirrups are aluminium safety stirrups featuring a double action release mechanism. Available in a single size of 4.75 inch / 12cm (121mm), they are designed to aid safe release of the foot in the event of a lateral fall. The stirrups are labelled L and R for correct fitting and are suitable for adult riders.
- Revolutionary double action technology: when activated, the entire outside of the stirrup opens to aid safe foot release
- Snap-closure double hinge returns to its original position after release
- Magnetic locking system secures the hinge in place; released when lateral pressure is applied in a fall
- 100% aluminium construction, anodised to protect from wear and tear
- Labelled 'L' and 'R' to prevent incorrect fitting - L & R should face the rider when in use
- The PE logo should be visible when standing in front of the horse
- Opening arm must be positioned closest to the knee roll; must never be directed towards the horse's ribs
- Clean with warm water only, including the safety mechanism
- Check the opening mechanism before and after each ride; remove any dirt or debris that could prevent correct release
- If stored on the saddle, use PE Stirrup Covers to help prevent damage
- Do not disassemble; do not wear clothing or footwear that may prevent the stirrup from working properly
