Equine America Better Bones is a pellet supplement providing targeted nutrition for broodmares, youngstock, and young performance horses, available in 3.5kg and 10kg sizes. It combines major minerals, trace minerals, vitamins D3 and K, collagen, amino acids, and MSM to support correct bone growth and development.
- Major minerals: Calcium (6,600mg per 120g serving), Phosphorus (2,200mg), and Magnesium (1,000mg) at a Ca:P ratio of 3:1, sourced from bio-available forms including sustainable marine algae, calcium gluconate, dicalcium phosphate, and alfalfa
- Key trace minerals: Zinc (300mg), Copper (100mg), Manganese (300mg), and Mono Silicic Acid (120mg) per 120g serving, provided from a combination of organic and inorganic sources to help ensure optimum bio-availability
- Vitamin D3 (2,000iu per 120g serving) plays a key role in the correct metabolism of calcium
- Vitamin K (7mg per 120g serving) plays an important role in bone metabolism, energy production, and immune function
- Collagen (360mg, marine source) and amino acids including Lysine (6,000mg) and Methionine (3,000mg) provide a structural framework to support bone strength and flexibility, and also support soft tissue (tendon and ligament) health
- MSM (2,500mg per 120g serving) provides a bioavailable source of sulphur to support hoof growth and supports the horse's natural processes
