Description
Equine America More Muscle Pellets are a complementary feed for horses and ponies, scientifically formulated to support muscle development as part of a balanced diet and exercise regime. Available in 3kg and 10kg sizes, they are designed for use during periods of intense training when muscle turnover is increased, rehabilitation work, sales preparation, or in underdeveloped horses of any age.
- Contains key amino acids including Lysine (2.6g per 100g) and Leucine (1.2g per 100g) from a blend of protein sources: whey protein isolate, spirulina, linseed and soya - rather than relying on a single source
- Provides important antioxidants including Vitamin E (1000mg per 100g) and Selenium (0.25mg per 100g), as well as plant-based antioxidants from dry grape extract and rosemary, to support muscle function and health in working horses
- Contains Stabilised Rice Bran, which is high in oil, to provide additional low-starch, oil-based calories to support energy requirements and promote condition
- Contains probiotics (Saccharomyces cerevisiae, 2.5 x 10¹⁰ cfu per 100g) to support a healthy gut microbiome, optimise digestion and feed utilisation
- Spirulina: 5.0g per 100g serving
- Whey Protein Isolate: 2.5g per 100g serving
- Dry Grape Extract: 18mg per 100g serving
- Directions for feeding: For a 500kg horse, 100g per day (may be divided between feeds, with at least one serve given in the first feed after exercise). Do not exceed 100g per day unless under professional advice. Research has shown that muscles take up amino acids after exercise, so offering More Muscle Pellets in the first suitable feed after exercise is recommended for optimum effect.
