Which Therapy-Tec product does my horse need?

How does the ceramic fabric actually work?
Ceramic particles are bonded into the fabric lining. They absorb the heat your horse gives off naturally and radiate it back towards the body as gentle far-infrared warmth. The idea is to keep the covered muscles warmer than they would be under plain fabric — which is why owners typically fit Therapy-Tec boots or pads in the stable before riding, or overnight, rather than during fast work. It is a low-effort way to help muscles feel warm and loose; it is not a medical device and it will not treat an injury, so always start with your vet if your horse is lame or unwell.
Warming or cooling — which do I use, and when?
Use the ceramic items before work and at rest: stable boots, poll pads, saddle pads and bandages are all about gentle warmth in the lead-up to exercise and between sessions. Use the Therapy-Tec II cooling boots after hard work: the Gel Ice Boots (£35.99) keep gel packs against the lower leg to bring heat down after fast work or jumping, and the Ultra Cool Ice Boots (£71.99) do the same job with a longer boot for more coverage. Can I use Therapy-Tec on my dog too?
Yes — the same ceramic lining appears in the dog line.
