How to Use
- Stand beside the horse facing the tail, run your hand down the leg and ask for the foot.
- Support the hoof and use the steel pick from heel to toe, working away from your body.
- Clear the grooves either side of the frog, taking care not to press into the sensitive frog itself.
- Turn the tool over and brush the sole with the nylon bristles to remove loose dirt.
- Check the sole, frog, shoe and clenches for stones, damage or heat.
- Rinse the pick and bristles after use and allow to dry before storing.
