How to Use
- Measure your horse in feet and inches from the centre of the chest, along the side of the body, to the point of the buttock, and choose the closest size.
- Make sure the coat is dry and reasonably clean before rugging up.
- Fold the rug, lay it over the withers and unfold back along the body so the spine sits central.
- Fasten the angled front closure first, then the belly surcingles, then the fillet strap.
- Check the fit at the chest and shoulder - you should be able to slide a flat hand under the front closure comfortably.
- Remove the rug daily to check for rubs, adjust straps and brush off loose hair and dirt.

FAQ
Is a 100g stable rug warm enough for winter?
A 100g fill is a lightweight to medium-weight option suited to cool stables and milder winter nights. Clipped or fine-coated horses in a cold barn may need extra layering, while unclipped natives are often comfortable in 100g alone.
Can this rug be used for turnout?
No. This is a stable rug, designed for indoor use. Although the 1000 Denier rip-stop outer repels moisture and stains in the stable, it is not intended as a waterproof turnout rug.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure from the centre of the chest, along the body, to the point of the buttock in feet and inches. Do not assume the size you take in another brand, as cut varies. If your horse is between sizes or has a broad chest and well-sprung shoulder, the larger size usually sits better.
Will the filling shift or bunch up when my horse lies down?
The fill is thermobonded polyester, which is bonded rather than loose, so it stays evenly distributed and will not slip or bunch when your horse moves or lies down.
What does the antibacterial microfibre lining do?
The lining is antibacterial and anti-static, soft and warm against the skin, and helps enhance the shine of the coat while reducing static cling in the stable.
How should I clean and store the rug?
Brush off loose hair and dirt, wipe the PVC-coated fillet strap clean, and store the rug dry. Check straps, fixings and stitching regularly for wear.
