How to Use

1. Measure your horse in feet and inches from the centre of the chest, along the side of the body, to the point of the buttock, and choose the closest size.
2. Make sure the coat is dry and reasonably clean before rugging up.
3. Fold the rug, lay it over the withers and unfold back along the body so the spine sits central.
4. Fasten the angled front closure first, then the belly surcingles, then the fillet strap.
5. Check the fit at the chest and shoulder - you should be able to slide a flat hand under the front closure comfortably.
6. Remove the rug daily to check for rubs, adjust straps and brush off loose hair and dirt.

Is a 100g stable rug warm enough for winter?
A 100g fill is a lightweight to medium-weight option suited to cool stables and milder winter nights. Clipped or fine-coated horses in a cold barn may need extra layering, while unclipped natives are often comfortable in 100g alone.
