The Shoof Excal Feeder Bottle is a 2 litre calf feeding bottle fitted with the well-proven EXCAL Fastflow teat, which has a non-return valve built in to help weak or new-born calves start suckling. It is designed for dairy farmers, calf rearers and smallholders who need a reliable single-calf feeder for colostrum and milk feeds.
Flow can be controlled on the spot: cover the air valve with a finger or thumb if the calf is suckling too quickly. A replacement air-inlet valve is included with the feeder.

How to Use
- Wash and rinse the bottle, teat and air-inlet valve before the first use of the day.
- Fill the bottle with colostrum or milk to a maximum of 2 litres at your usual feeding temperature.
- Fit the teat securely and check the air-inlet valve is seated correctly.
- Offer the teat to the calf, supporting the head so the neck is straight and slightly raised.
- If the calf gulps or feeds too fast, cover the air valve with a finger or thumb to slow the flow, then release to resume.
- After feeding, dismantle, wash and rinse all parts, then leave to dry before storage. Replace the teat or air-inlet valve once worn.
