Unlike the chivalrous cartoon character that we love, Max doesn’t swoop in to save the day. In fact, he’s often the one ‘rescued’ from various dangerous situations recreated during training sessions! It’s almost like a reversed ‘Max to the Rescue’, with the rescue being for rather than by Max. And you thought your job was challenging!

To facilitate the implementation of this innovative approach to rescue training, The Mare and Foal Sanctuary teamed up with the British Animal Rescue & Trauma Care Association (BARTA), Tor Equine, and Kernow Farm & Equine Vets.
