What does Woof Wear make?
Woof Wear is best known for horse leg protection, but the range is much broader. In this collection you'll find brushing and overreach boots, fly veils and fly masks, head collars and lead ropes, saddle pads and cloths, riding gloves and socks, riding whips and bats, plus a group of veterinary and therapy boots for hoof and leg care. Products are grouped into a few recognisable ranges, so it helps to know which does what.
Which Woof Wear range is right for me?
| Range | What's in it | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Club | Brushing boots, reflective boots | Everyday schooling and turnout — durable, easy-care protection |
| Pro | Overreach boots, saddle pads, showjumping bats | Competition and serious schooling where performance matters |
| Vision | Fly veils, dressage and close-contact pads | Riders who want colour and breathable, lightweight designs |
| Contour | Head collars, lead ropes | Comfortable, anatomically shaped everyday handling kit |
| Vet & Therapy Boots | Medical Hoof Boot, Mud Fever Boot, Hock Boot | Hoof and leg care — protecting, poulticing and aiding recovery |
How do I choose the right size?
Woof Wear boots and veils are generally sized Small/Medium/Large (and Pony/Cob/Full for some head collars and veils), so measure your horse rather than guessing from height alone. For brushing and overreach boots, check the fit around the fetlock and cannon bone — a boot should sit snugly without pinching or rubbing. If you're between sizes or fitting a boot for a specific issue, it's worth checking with your saddler, instructor or vet. Every product page lists the sizes we currently have in stock.

Care and related collections
Rinse muddy boots and veils in cool water and let them air-dry away from direct heat to keep the neoprene and fabrics in good shape — avoid tumble dryers and radiators. Fasten hook-and-loop straps before washing so they don't collect hair and hay. Exploring beyond Woof Wear? Woof Wear FAQs
How much do Woof Wear products cost?
In this collection, in-stock Woof Wear products range from around £3.99 for accessories such as yard gloves up to around £64.99 for the Mid Winter Boot. Popular boots and fly veils mostly sit between £17 and £37. Each product page shows the current price and the sizes in stock.
Where is Woof Wear made?
Woof Wear is a British brand founded in 1981 and based in Cornwall, where it designs and develops its equestrian protection range. Products are tested with riders from grassroots to international level.
What is the difference between the Club and Pro ranges?
The Club range is Woof Wear's hard-wearing, easy-care line for everyday schooling and turnout, such as the Club Brushing Boot. The Pro range is aimed at competition and performance riding and includes items like the Pro Overreach Boot and Pro saddle pads. Both are made to the same quality standards.
What is the Woof Wear Medical Hoof Boot used for?
The Medical Hoof Boot is designed to keep poultices and dressings clean and dry, indoors or out. It's a protective boot rather than a treatment — always follow the advice of your vet or farrier for any hoof condition.
How do I clean my Woof Wear boots and veils?
Rinse off mud in cool water, fasten the straps, and allow them to air-dry naturally away from direct heat. Avoid tumble dryers and radiators, which can damage neoprene and elastic over time.
What are the delivery and returns options?
We offer free UK delivery on orders over £50, with next-day delivery available on eligible items ordered before 4pm. Woof Wear products are covered by our 90-day returns policy.
