Which Woof Wear saddlecloth is right for your saddle?
Saddlecloth choice is mostly about matching the cut of the cloth to the cut of your saddle. A dressage saddle has long, straight flaps, so it needs a longer, straighter cloth. A jumping or close contact saddle has forward-cut flaps, so it needs a cloth shaped to follow that curve. A general purpose (GP) saddle sits between the two, and a GP cloth is shaped to suit it. What is the difference between the Pro and Vision ranges?
They sit at different points in the Woof Wear line-up. The Pro pads are the everyday, best-value option at £34.99 and come in stable colours such as Black, Navy and White. The Vision pads sit at the top of the range at £49.99 and are the ones riders tend to pick when they want a more decorative finish for competition. Do you need more than one saddlecloth?
Most riders end up with at least two: one plain cloth for schooling and hacking, and one kept clean for shows. How do you keep a saddlecloth in good condition?

What is the difference between a close contact and a dressage saddlecloth?
It is the shape. A close contact cloth is cut forward to follow the curved flap of a jumping or close contact saddle. A dressage cloth is longer and straighter to sit under the long, straight flap of a dressage saddle. Using the wrong shape leaves the flap hanging over the edge of the cloth or the cloth showing well beyond the saddle, and can cause rubbing.
