Cookie Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on justhorseriders.co.uk, what they do, and how you can choose which ones we use.

1

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the shop to work at all, such as remembering your basket. Others help us understand how the site is used or show you relevant adverts. Pixels and browser storage work in a similar way, so this page covers them too.

2

Your Choice

When you first visit, our cookie banner asks what you're happy with. Strictly necessary cookies are always on, because the shop can't work without them. Analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you say yes, and you can say no just as easily.

You can change your mind at any time:

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the shop (such as the basket and checkout) won't work.

Notes Kept Only in Your Browser

Some small notes stay in your own browser's storage rather than in a cookie. For example, if you're not signed in and save your horse's size or your own size, that size is kept in your browser so we can choose it for you next time, and if you tap “No thanks” your browser remembers not to ask again for 30 days. These notes hold nothing about who you are and are never sent to us. See Your Sizes & Your Animals in our Privacy Policy. Clearing your browser's data for our site removes them.

If you say yes to analytics or marketing cookies, some of the services above also keep similar notes in your browser storage (for example Google, Microsoft and Klaviyo), for the same purposes and only with your consent. Our current sign-up forms (run by Klaviyo) keep a count of the pages you've looked at during your visit and which forms you've already seen, so the same form doesn't keep popping up.
