What size LeMieux gloves do I need?
LeMieux gloves are sold in named sizes (XX-Small to X-Large) rather than numbered ones. Measure round the widest part of your palm, not including the thumb, and go up a size if you are between two. Riding gloves should feel snug when new - the palm leather and stretch panels give a little after a few rides. If a glove is loose enough to twist on your hand, it will bunch under the rein.
Should riding gloves be tight?
Snug, not tight. You want no loose fabric across the palm, but you should still be able to close your hand into a fist and open it without the fingertips pulling. Winter and yard gloves, like the Thermal Work Gloves, are the exception - a little room helps them stay warm.
