LeMieux Brilliance Leather Tall Riding Boots
Description
LeMieux Brilliance Riding Boots - Regular Height, X-Slim Calf
The LeMieux Brilliance Riding Boots are tall full grain leather riding boots with a diamante stone channel topline, a rear YKK zip and an X-Grip rubber sole. This version is Regular height with an X-Slim calf, making it best for riders with a slimmer lower leg who want a close, tailored fit for schooling, jumping, dressage and competition.
The 'fit and flex' construction is designed to move with the leg rather than restrict it, so the boots stay comfortable from early morning yard work through to the last schooling session of the day.

How to Use
- Measure your calf circumference at the widest point and the height from the floor to the back of the knee crease.
- Compare both measurements against the X-Slim Regular fitting before ordering; choose a wider calf option if your measurement sits above the X-Slim range.
- Try the boots on indoors wearing the riding socks and breeches you normally ride in.
- Open the rear YKK zip fully, slide the foot in, then draw the zip up and secure the concealed keeper.
- Wear them for short sessions at first so the leather settles and drops slightly at the ankle.
- After riding, wipe off mud and sweat, dry naturally away from direct heat and condition the leather regularly.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does X-Slim calf mean?
X-Slim is the narrowest calf fitting in the range and is intended for riders with a slim lower leg. Measure your calf at its widest point over riding breeches and socks, and pick a wider fitting if your measurement is above the X-Slim range.
Are these boots suitable for competition?
Yes. The full grain leather upper, elegant silhouette and subtle diamante topline suit dressage, showjumping and general competition, as well as everyday schooling.
Can I wear spurs with them?
Yes. An integrated spur rest is mounted on the engineered zip protector flap to help hold spurs in position.
Will the boots feel tight behind the knee at first?
A snug fit at the top of the calf is normal when new. Leather riding boots soften and drop slightly at the ankle with wear, which lowers the top of the boot. The neoprene-cushioned cover behind the knee helps reduce rubbing during this period.
How grippy is the sole in wet weather?
The X-Grip rubber sole uses a linear tread pattern designed to interact with your stirrup footplate for foot security in the stirrup, and it provides non-slip traction in all weather on the ground.
How should I care for the leather?
Wipe clean after each ride, allow the boots to dry naturally away from direct heat, and condition the leather regularly. Boot trees or shapers help the leg hold its shape between rides.
