2. Fold the neck back, lay the rug over the withers and slide it into place along the lie of the coat.
3. Fasten the front chest double trigger clips first, adjusting them so the shoulders sit smoothly without pulling.
4. Fasten the belly and leg straps next, leaving roughly a hand's width of clearance under the belly straps.
5. Draw the full neck forward and secure it over the ears, checking it sits clear of the eyes.
6. Check daily for rubs at the shoulders, poll and wither, and reproof the topline as water resistance reduces with wear.
