How to Use

1. Measure the cannon length of your horse's hind leg and compare it with the size guide before ordering — pony, cob and full-size horses differ considerably.
2. Check the leg is clean and dry, with no mud or grit that could rub under the lining.
3. Place the boot so the strike guard sits over the cannon bone and tendon, with the V-cut front facing forward.
4. Fasten the three straps from the top down, firm enough that the boot cannot rotate but not tight enough to restrict movement.
5. Walk the horse a few strides and re-check the position before mounting.
6. Remove the boots as soon as you finish the round or session, rinse off mud, wipe the shell and dry naturally away from direct heat.
