1. Measure your horse from the centre of the chest, along the side of the body, to the point of the buttock, and select the nearest rug size.
2. Fold the rug, place it over the withers and unfold it back along the body, then fasten the chest clips first.

4. Fasten the surcingles so a hand's width fits between the strap and the belly, then clip on the tail strap or fit the leg straps, crossing them between the hind legs.
