What makes a jump square different from a general purpose pad?
A jump square is cut forward and shaped to follow the flap of a close-contact jumping saddle, so it does not bunch behind your knee or slide out from under the saddle over a fence. A general purpose pad is cut straighter to suit a GP saddle that sits more upright.
