Getting the fit right
Start from your jeans waist size — men's jodhpurs and breeches are sized in inches, and most styles here run from 26″ to 42″. The cut is not the same as jeans, though: the rise is higher at the back so the waistband stays put when you lean forward, and the seat is shaped for sitting in a saddle rather than a chair. They should feel snug everywhere without digging in; the four-way stretch fabric does the work.
