Description
Rear fetlock boots with double ventilation and Techno Sheepskin lining.Save the sheep- the new line in techno sheepskin- is cruelty free. The lining is a man-made fabric- which is free from any animal derivatives. The techno sheepskin offers numerous advantages:it can be washed easily and dries quickly- while real lambskin requires considerable- lengthy maintenance;trapped sand comes out easily out of the loose- soft wide knit- minimising the risk of abrasions to the leg;it is more comfortable and a cosier fit than natural lambskin;it stays looking good for longer- while real lambskin tends to dry out- become stiff and turn yellow. The heat that is released from the horse's leg passes through the micro-perforated neoprene layer and is distributed in the 3D mesh ducted fabric. Fresh air enters through the air inlets and directs the heat upwards to the outlet grid. The ventilation is therefore both horizontal and vertical. The protection of the rear fetlock is guaranteed by carbon combined with a Nitrexgel shock absorber film. The Techno Sheepskin lining- a man-made and totally cruelty-free material- offers great comfort to the horse combined with a unique aesthetic.Double ventilationFetlock protection in carbon + NitrexgelTechno Sheepskin liningElastic straps with quick release tipsAnatomic shell

Frequently Asked Questions
What material is used for the lining, and is it cruelty-free?
The boots are lined with Techno Sheepskin, a man-made fabric that is entirely free from animal derivatives. Veredus markets this under their 'Save the Sheep' line, meaning no real lambskin is used.
What are the practical advantages of Techno Sheepskin over real lambskin?
According to Veredus, the Techno Sheepskin washes easily and dries quickly, allows trapped sand to fall out of the loose wide knit more readily to reduce abrasion risk, stays looking good for longer, and does not dry out, stiffen, or yellow the way real lambskin can.
How does the double ventilation system work in these boots?
Heat released from the horse's leg passes through a micro-perforated neoprene layer into a 3D mesh ducted fabric. Fresh air enters through air inlets and directs heat upwards to an outlet grid, creating both horizontal and vertical airflow.
What provides the fetlock protection in these boots?
Protection is provided by a carbon shell combined with a Nitrexgel shock absorber film, designed to absorb and disperse impact to the rear fetlock.
How are these boots fastened?
They use elastic straps with quick release tips for secure and convenient fastening.
Are these front or rear boots?
These are specifically rear fetlock boots, shaped with an anatomic shell designed for the hind legs.
