Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the Veredus Stable Boot Evo Rear a safer alternative to traditional rest bandages?
Unlike traditional rest bandages, the Stable Boot Evo Rear can be put on and taken off easily and quickly, removing the risk of a wrongly wrapped bandage causing uneven pressure on the leg.
What is DFD lining and how does it work in this boot?
DFD (Dry Fast Dry) is a highly hydrophilic fabric used as the internal lining. It rapidly absorbs moisture generated by the horse's body and removes it from the skin, keeping the leg dry. The DFD pad is interchangeable and fixed in place with velcro.
Does this boot provide tendon support?
Yes. The boot has a containment action for the tendon apparatus, which is designed to help reduce the typical post-work swelling around the tendons.
Is there any protection for the fetlock area?
Yes. The boot includes polyurethane fetlock protection as part of its design.
How is the boot secured on the leg?
The boot fastens using velcro straps with elastic support, which also provides support for the suspensors.
Is this boot designed specifically for the rear legs?
Yes. This is the rear version of the Veredus Stable Boot Evo, shaped anatomically for the hind legs.
