The 3M 8812 is a disposable cup-shaped FFP1 respirator mask that protects against dust and mists, certified to EN 149:2001+A1:2009 FFP1 NR D. How to Use
- Check the respirator for damage or deformation before use and discard it if the shell or straps are compromised.
- Cup the mask in your hand with the nose clip at your fingertips and the straps hanging below.
- Hold the mask under your chin with the nose clip uppermost and pull the top strap over the crown of your head.
- Pull the lower strap over your head and position it below your ears at the back of the neck.
- Mould the nose clip to the shape of your nose with both hands for a close seal.
- Carry out a fit check by covering the mask with both hands and exhaling; adjust if air escapes around the edges.
- Replace the respirator after each shift, or sooner if it becomes damaged, soiled or breathing becomes difficult.
