How to Use

1. Write your chosen number or identification on the blank flag with a livestock marker pen and let the ink dry fully.
2. Load the button and flag components into a compatible eartag applicator, checking they seat correctly.
3. Restrain the sheep calmly and quietly, keeping the head steady.
4. Position the tag in the middle of the ear, between the ribs of cartilage and away from the outer edge.
5. Close the applicator in one firm movement, then release and check the tag rotates freely.
6. Check tagged animals over the following days for irritation or lost tags, and re-tag if needed.
