How to Use
- Check the respirator is undamaged and the straps are intact before fitting.
- Cup the respirator in one hand with the nosebridge uppermost and the straps hanging free.
- Hold the mask under the chin and take the lower strap around the neck, below the ears.
- Bring the upper strap over the crown of the head and adjust both straps at the four points until the fit feels secure but comfortable.
- Mould the preformed nosebridge to the shape of your nose using both hands, not one.
- Check the seal by cupping your hands over the respirator and breathing out; adjust if air escapes at the edges.
- Remove and replace the respirator if it is damaged, soiled, wet or breathing becomes difficult, and dispose of it after the shift.
