The Beris Soft Comfort Bar Loose Ring Snaffle is a German-made snaffle bit with an 18mm soft comfort bar mouthpiece and 7.5cm loose rings. How to Use
- Measure your horse's existing bit from the inside of one ring to the inside of the other, or use a bit measurer, and choose the matching mouth width.
- Attach the bit to your bridle cheekpieces, checking both sides are on the same hole.
- Bridle up and check the bit sits level, with roughly 3-5mm of mouthpiece visible either side of the lips.
- Adjust the cheekpieces so the bit rests comfortably in the corners of the mouth without drawing them upwards.
- Ride in walk first and watch how the horse accepts the contact before moving on to schooling work.
- Rinse the mouthpiece in clean water after every ride and dry before storing.
