1. Measure your horse's current bit from the inside of one ring to the inside of the other, or use a bit measurer across the mouth, and order the matching width.
2. Attach the bit to the bridle cheekpieces with the port curving upwards, away from the tongue.

4. Check there is roughly 3-5mm of clearance between the ring and the lip on each side so the bit cannot pinch or slide through.
