How To Use
- Tack up with a lunge roller or saddle and fit a bridle or lunge cavesson with a bit, as normal for your usual routine.
- Attach the buckle end of each rein to the roller or girth straps at the same height on both sides.
- Set both reins to the same eyelet, starting longer than the working length you want.
- Clip the reins to the bit rings and check the horse can carry its head comfortably.
- Walk the horse forward on the circle and allow a few minutes to settle before shortening gradually, one eyelet at a time on each side.
- Unclip the reins before leading the horse back in, and never leave a horse unattended while side reins are attached.
