The Equi-Sential Show Halter is a traditional in-hand showing halter made from 100% soft tubular cotton web, 1" (25mm) wide, in classic white with solid brass fittings. It is designed for showing producers, riding club members and stud yards who need a smart, fully adjustable halter that fits anything from a foal to a full-size horse.
The attached lead gives a total length of 3.5 metres with a looped end, so there is ample length for leading, standing up and running up in hand. Best for in-hand showing classes, youngstock handling and presentation, rather than turnout or tying up.

How to Use
- Measure your horse's current headcollar or head so you know roughly where to set the adjustment.
- Slacken the headpiece and noseband, then slide the halter over the nose and fasten behind the ears.
- Adjust the headpiece first so the noseband sits about two fingers below the cheekbone.
- Adjust the noseband so you can fit two fingers between the webbing and the nose.
- Run the lead through your leading hand, holding the slack neatly folded, never coiled around the hand.
