Freejump Spur'One Extra Long 30mm Riding Spurs
Description
The Freejump Spur'One Extra Long is a lightweight riding spur with a carbon fibre body, an articulated internal branch that adjusts instantly to boot width, and a fixed 30mm hand-polished stainless steel tip. It is sold as a pair in one size and is best for riders who want a slim, precisely aligned spur for schooling, jumping and everyday riding.
Because the external branch stays rigid while the internal branch articulates, the spur holds its position at the point of contact with the horse's flank rather than twisting or sliding on the boot. The Extra Long 30mm tip suits riders who need a little more reach to make contact without exaggerating the leg position.
Key Features
- Lightweight carbon fibre body - exceptional rigidity with minimal weight for lasting comfort.

How to Use
- Identify the left and right spur and hold each with the tip pointing backwards.
- Sit the spur on the spur rest of your riding boot, just above the heel, so the branches follow the shape of the boot.
- Allow the articulated internal branch to settle against the boot so the width matches without forcing it.
- Thread a spur strap through the contoured openings and fasten it snugly over the instep, buckle to the outside.
- Check the tip angles slightly downwards and that the spur cannot rotate before you mount.
- Wipe clean after riding, dry the body and tips, and inspect the tips for damage before each use.
FAQ
Are Freejump Spur'One spurs sold as a pair?
Yes. They are purchased as a pair and are available in one size.
How long is the tip on the Extra Long model?
The Extra Long fixed tip measures 30mm. The wider Spur'One range also includes a round 15mm, Prince of Wales 25mm, hammer 25mm and disc 30mm tip.
Will they fit my riding boots?
The internal branch articulates for immediate boot-width adjustment, so the same pair adapts to slimmer or wider riding boots. They fit boots with a conventional spur rest.
Are spur straps included?
No, spur straps are not included. You can pair them with any standard spur strap from our spurs and spur straps collection.
What are the spurs made from?
The body is carbon fibre with an Elastollan interior overmould, and the fixed tip is hand-polished stainless steel with a smooth, burr-free finish.
Which tip length should I choose?
Longer tips such as the 30mm Extra Long give more reach for riders with a longer leg or those riding wider horses; shorter tips such as the 15mm round give a softer, more discreet aid. Choose the shortest tip that lets you give a clear cue.
