Freejump Voronoi Riding Helmet with Temple Protection
Description
The Freejump Voronoi is a lightweight riding helmet built around a four-layer protective structure with removable temple protection. It is best for riders who want advanced impact protection for schooling, training, hacking and leisure riding without carrying extra weight on their head.
The four layers comprise an inner EPS shell, an in-mould polycarbonate sheet, an outer ABS thermoplastic polymer shell and the temple protection itself. The helmet weighs approximately 500 g without temple protection and around 600 g with it, and the Italian fabric lining is removable and washable at 30°C.
Key Features
- Four-layer protection — inner EPS shell, in-mould polycarbonate sheet, outer thermoplastic polymer shell and temple protection working together.
- Removable temple protection — innovative protection at the temporal area to help reduce concussion risk in this high-vulnerability region.
- In-moulding technology — polycarbonate sheet moulded directly onto the EPS core for integrated impact resistance.
- Lightweight — around 500 g without temple protection, around 600 g with it fitted.
- Washable lining — high-quality Italian fabric, removable and washable at 30°C (86°F).
- ABS outer shell — high-quality ABS thermoplastic polymer with robust internal components.
- Crush resistance — integrated rib reinforcing the junction between the upper shell and the temporal part.
- Ventilated design — ventilation helps keep the head cool and comfortable through longer sessions.
- Visor ready — designed to accommodate a long visor for sun protection.

How to Use
- Have the helmet fitted by a trained fitter before first use — head shape matters as much as circumference.
- Decide whether to ride with the temple protection fitted or removed, then check the fit again with your chosen set-up.
- Place the helmet level on the head so the front edge sits just above the eyebrows, not tipped back.
- Fasten and adjust the harness so it is snug under the jaw with no slack, and check the helmet does not rock or slide.
- After riding, remove the lining and wash at 30°C as needed, and wipe the shell with a damp cloth and mild soap.
- Store away from direct heat and sunlight, and replace the helmet after any impact.
FAQ
How much does the Freejump Voronoi weigh?
Approximately 500 g without the temple protection fitted and around 600 g with it, which makes it a light option for longer sessions in the saddle.
Can the temple protection be removed?
Yes. The temple protection is removable, so you can ride with the additional cover at the temporal area or take it off for a lighter helmet.
Is the lining washable?
Yes. The lining is high-quality Italian fabric and is removable and washable at 30°C (86°F). Wipe the outer shell with a damp cloth and mild soap only.
What is the helmet made from?
The outer shell is high-quality ABS thermoplastic polymer, with an in-mould polycarbonate sheet bonded to an inner EPS shell, plus temple protection — four layers in total.
How should a riding helmet fit?
It should sit level on the head, feel snug all the way round without pressure points, and stay put when the harness is fastened. Always have a riding hat fitted by a trained fitter.
When should I replace it?
Replace the helmet after any impact, even if there is no visible damage, and avoid buying second-hand hats because their impact history is unknown.
