Horse Straights Direct Detox & Cleanse Infusion Teabags
Description
Horse Straights Direct Detox & Cleanse Infusion (Teabags)
The Horse Straights Direct Detox & Cleanse Infusion is a traditional herbal blend of dandelion root, nettle leaf, cleaver, milk thistle powder and burdock root, brewed as a tea and poured over your horse's feed. It is made for horse owners who want gentle, food-based support for their horse's natural liver and kidney cleansing processes, fluid balance and general vitality.
It is best for horses and ponies coming through a seasonal change, coming off rich spring or autumn grazing, or on a routine wellbeing programme. Each pack is supplied with three reusable teabags and gives 30 portions at the standard feed rate.

FAQ
How much should I feed?
The feed rate is 30g per day based on an average 500kg horse, giving 30 portions per pack. Scale the amount sensibly for smaller ponies and larger warmbloods, and introduce it gradually over several days.
Can I use it without a kettle?
Yes. Soak the herbs in cold water overnight as an alternative to the hot infusion method. Both approaches help release the nutrients into the water.
Will fussy horses eat it?
Because the cooled infusion and softened herbs are mixed through hard feed rather than sprinkled on dry, most horses take it readily. Start with a smaller amount and build up if your horse is particularly suspicious of new flavours.
Is it safe to feed if I compete?
This is a herbal complementary feeding stuff rather than a medicine. Rules on herbal ingredients vary between governing bodies, so check the current prohibited-substances list for your discipline before feeding if you compete under affiliated rules.
Why does the colour vary between packs?
The blend contains only natural ingredients, so colour, aroma and consistency can differ from batch to batch. This is normal and does not affect how you use it.
When is the best time of year to use it?
It is commonly used during seasonal changes, after a spell on rich grazing, or as part of a regular wellbeing routine at any point in the year.
