How to Use

1. Place the pad on the horse's back slightly forward of its final position, with the cut over sitting at the withers.
2. Slide the pad back into place so the hair lies flat underneath it.
3. Position the saddle on top, keeping the pad central and even on both sides.
4. Attach the D-ring fastenings to the saddle billets and thread the girth straps through the double touch tape girth loops, pressing the tape closed.
5. Before girthing up, pull the pad up into the gullet of the saddle so it is clear of the withers and spine.
6. Check both sides are level, girth up gradually, then re-check the wither clearance before mounting.
