How to Use
- Measure a headcollar that already fits your horse, or measure around the nose two fingers below the cheekbone, and choose pony, cob or full accordingly.
- Unfasten the headstall buckle and slip the noseband over the muzzle, then bring the headpiece up behind the ears.
- Fasten the headstall so the noseband sits around two fingers below the cheekbone, clear of the eyes and the soft part of the nose.
- Adjust the nose strap so you can fit two fingers comfortably between the leather and the horse's face.
- Clip your lead rope to the ring beneath the jaw for leading, and tie only to a quick-release knot and a breakable string loop.
- After use, wipe off mud and sweat, dry naturally away from heat and condition the leather regularly.
