How to Use

1. Measure your horse's mouth with a bit measurer, or measure an existing bit from the inside of one ring to the inside of the other.
2. Fit the bit to a bridle or lungeing cavesson set-up and adjust the cheekpieces so the mouthpiece rests comfortably at the corners of the mouth.
3. Allow the horse to stand and mouth the bit quietly in the stable or yard for short periods at first.
4. Progress to in-hand walking, then lungeing or long-reining, keeping sessions short while the horse learns to accept the contact.
5. Rinse the bit in clean water after every use and dry it thoroughly before storing.
