FAQ
Are these cheek pieces sold as a pair?
Yes, they are supplied as a pair so you can replace both sides of the bridle at the same time and keep the bit hanging level.
What are they made from?
Premium European leather with subtle tonal stitching and stainless steel buckle closures.
How wide are they?
They are 3/4" wide, which is the slim profile typically used on exercise and racing bridles.
Will they fit my existing bridle?
They are designed for exercise and racing bridles. Measure the length and buckle hole spacing of your current cheek pieces and compare the width of your headpiece loops and bit rings before ordering, as fittings vary between makes.
Are they suitable for a thoroughbred or a cob?
The 3/4" racing width suits thoroughbreds and lighter types best. Heavier cobs and warmbloods with broader faces may prefer a wider, standard cheek piece.
How should I care for the leather?
Wipe off sweat and mud with a damp cloth after each use, dry naturally away from direct heat, and condition with a leather balm. Check stitching and buckle holes regularly and retire any leather that shows cracking or stretching.
