The Rurtec Matingmark Deluxe Ram Harness is a webbing mating harness that holds a marking crayon on a ram's brisket so every ewe he serves is marked with colour. It is made for sheep farmers, smallholders and shepherds who need to record service dates through tupping, and it is designed for Matingmark ram crayons while also holding other crayon types.
The harness fastens with strong, easily adjusted buckles, fits quickly and stays in place after days of work. Crayons are sold separately.

How to Use
- Slide your chosen crayon into the holder on the front of the harness until it sits securely.
- Place the harness over the ram's shoulders so the crayon sits centrally on the brisket.
- Fasten and adjust the buckles so the harness is firm enough to stay put but allows free movement and normal breathing.
- Turn the ram out with the ewes and check the marks on ewe rumps each day.
- Re-check the buckle adjustment after the first 24 hours and regularly thereafter, as the ram's condition changes.
- Change to a different crayon colour at each cycle interval to track repeat services.
