How to Use

1. Brush the horse's back clean and check for any existing rubs or sore spots before tacking up.
2. Place the pad well forward, then slide it back into position so the hair lies flat and the spine panels sit either side of the backbone.
3. Line the rigging guard up with your saddle's drop or centre-fire rigging point so the cinch contacts the guarded area.
4. Set the saddle on the pad, then lift the pad slightly into the gullet to keep pressure off the spine.
5. If you need more thickness or balance, insert ThinLine Plus Booster Shims into the open pocket and re-check the fit.

What size is the pad?
The spine length is 27" with a 20" drop to the bottom of the rigging panel, 23" of UltraThinLine along each side of the spine and a 14.5" rear drop. Compare these to your saddle panel length before ordering.

How thick is the ThinLine?
The UltraThinLine panels are 4.7 mm (3/16") thick on both sides of the spine. ThinLine Plus Booster Shims can be ordered separately and added to the open pocket to increase overall thickness.

Can I wash it?
Yes. The pad is designed for regular washing, and the synthetic sheepskin base is washable with lower maintenance than natural fleece. Allow it to air dry fully before the next ride.
