Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the Veredus Stable Boot Evo a safer alternative to traditional rest bandages?
Unlike traditional rest bandages, the Stable Boot Evo can be put on and taken off easily and quickly, removing the risk of a wrongly wrapped bandage causing uneven pressure on the leg.
What is the DFD lining and what does it do?
DFD stands for Dry Fast Dry - a highly hydrophilic fabric that absorbs moisture generated by the horse's body and removes it from the skin, keeping the leg dry. The DFD pad is interchangeable and fixed in place with velcro.
Does the Stable Boot Evo offer tendon support?
Yes. The boot has a containment action for the tendon apparatus, which is designed to help reduce the typical post-work swelling in the tendon area.
Is there any protection for the fetlock area?
Yes. The Stable Boot Evo includes polyurethane fetlock protection as part of its design.
How is the boot secured on the leg?
The boot fastens with velcro straps that include elastic support, and the closure also provides support for the suspensors.
Is the DFD pad replaceable?
Yes. The internal DFD lining pad is interchangeable and is held in place with velcro, so it can be removed and replaced as needed.
