How to Use
- Groom the pony's back and check for any soreness or rubs before fitting.
- Place the pad on the back so it sits behind the shoulder and clear of the spine.
- Adjust the saddle pad to set the gullet width so there is clearance along the spine.
- Attach and fasten the girth evenly on both sides, then check you can slide a flat hand underneath.
- Fit the crupper if used, attach the stirrup leathers and run the stirrups down to roughly the child's ankle.
- Position the grab strap within easy reach, then re-check the girth after a few minutes of walking.
- Keep an adult handler at the pony's head throughout and untack, wipe down and inspect the straps afterwards.
