How to Use
- Sit the spur on the seam at the back of your boot heel, resting on the boot spur rest if it has one.
- Angle the neck of the spur very slightly downwards, with the branches following the line of the heel.
- Pass the perlon strap through the inner slot of the spur, take it under the boot and back up through the outer slot.
- Fasten the stainless steel buckle on the outside of the boot, never on the inside where it can rub the horse or your other leg.
- Tuck the loose tail of the strap through the keeper so it cannot flap or catch.
- Check both spurs sit level and secure before mounting, and re-check after the first few minutes of riding.
