Which Horseware Signature rug or cooler do I need?

Cooler or stable rug – what is the difference?
A cooler is a breathable wicking layer. It goes straight onto a wet or sweaty horse, pulls moisture up through the fabric, and comes off once the coat is dry. That is the job of the Signature Sport Cooler at £99.95 and the Signature Travel Cooler at £138.95. A stable rug is different: the Signature Stable 200g at £154.95 is a mediumweight filled rug meant to keep a stabled horse warm overnight, not to dry one off. Most yards end up owning both, because they are used at different points in the same day.
How do I know what size rug to order?
UK rug sizes are measured in feet and inches from the centre of the chest, along the side of the body, to the point of the buttock. Measure with the horse standing square and round up to the nearest size if you land between two. If you are between sizes on a cooler, the larger size is usually the safer choice because coolers sit over other layers.

The leather headcollar is the traditional choice and the cheapest of the three at £59.95. The webbing and braided versions, both £68.95, are the ones to look at if you want a colour that matches the Navy and Hunter Green running through the rest of the Signature range.
